Frequently asked questions about accidents, repairs and paint

The questions we hear most – answered briefly and honestly.

I've just had an accident – what should I do first?

Secure the scene (hazard lights, hi-vis vest, warning triangle), help anyone injured and, if someone is hurt, call the ambulance (144) or the police (133) right away. Then exchange details with the other party, ideally using the European Accident Statement, and take photos. After that, get in touch with us – we'll tell you what happens next. You'll find a detailed checklist in our guides.

Do you handle the claim with the insurance company?

Yes. Claim handling is one of our main areas. We coordinate with the insurer and – if one is needed – the assessor, and keep you up to date.

Who pays for the repair?

That depends on who caused the accident and how your car is insured. If it wasn't your fault, the other driver's liability insurance usually covers the damage. If you caused it yourself, your comprehensive cover pays – if you have it – usually minus the excess. We'll look at your case together.

Do I get a cost estimate first?

Yes. After the inspection you receive a cost estimate, and we only start once you agree.

How long does a repair take?

It depends on the damage, spare parts and – for insurance cases – the approval. After the inspection we tell you what to expect and let you know if anything changes.

Do you paint individual parts?

Yes, including single parts such as a bumper or a wing. The colour is matched to your existing paint.

Do I get a courtesy car?

Yes – while your car is being repaired with us, you get a courtesy car free of charge. Ideally let us know when you book, so we can plan it in.

Can you cover my insurance excess?

For comprehensive claims, we can cover your excess. Whether that's possible in your case is best discussed in person – just ask us.

Do you replace windscreens?

Yes. We replace windscreens professionally and – if your car has a camera behind the screen – calibrate the driver-assistance systems. With partial comprehensive cover, the insurer can pay for the replacement.

Do I need an appointment?

Ideally, yes – then we have time for your car. You can arrange an appointment by phone or send a request online. After an accident, just get in touch as soon as you can.

Where do your customers come from?

From Vienna and Lower Austria. If you're not sure whether the trip is worth it, give us a quick call.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday 7 am to 5 pm, Saturday 7 am to 12 noon. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Your question isn't listed? Write to us or give us a call.

Damage to your car? Just get in touch.

Better a quick call than a long think. If nobody picks up, send us a message – we'll get back to you.
