FAQ
Quick answers
I've just had an accident – what should I do first?
Secure the scene (hazard lights, hi-vis vest, warning triangle), help anyone injured and, if someone is hurt, call the ambulance (144) or the police (133) right away. Then exchange details with the other party, ideally using the European Accident Statement, and take photos. After that, get in touch with us – we'll tell you what happens next. You'll find a detailed checklist in our guides.
Do you handle the claim with the insurance company?
Yes. Claim handling is one of our main areas. We coordinate with the insurer and – if one is needed – the assessor, and keep you up to date.
Who pays for the repair?
That depends on who caused the accident and how your car is insured. If it wasn't your fault, the other driver's liability insurance usually covers the damage. If you caused it yourself, your comprehensive cover pays – if you have it – usually minus the excess. We'll look at your case together.
Do I get a cost estimate first?
Yes. After the inspection you receive a cost estimate, and we only start once you agree.
